The after-school program being created in Van Buren County is designed to focus on fine arts, aiming to enrich students' educational experiences across the county. This program intends to offer a diverse range of fine arts activities including painting, drawing, music, theater, and dance, allowing students to explore their creative talents and develop new skills. The program is inclusive, targeting benefits for all students, regardless of their background or skill level. By participating in this program, students will have the opportunity to engage in artistic expression, enhance their appreciation for the arts, and foster a supportive community of young artists. The initiative not only aims to cultivate students' artistic abilities but also to contribute to their overall personal and academic growth.
To make sure we are building something the community wants to be a part of, these inputs and opinions are vital in the creation process.

Our 8th grade science students dove into the world of Force and Motion by building their own catapults! They put their knowledge to the test as they launched various objects and explored how mass affects the speed and distance of their launches. In addition, Mr. Price also created a little competition among the class periods as they competed for the longest launch. The winning class will be announced next week.
