This week our HMS Staff Spotlight goes to Gina Manning and Sarah Briley.
Mrs. Briley has been at Hartford Public Schools for four years. She is a special education teacher for 6th - 8th grade. In addition, she coaches Speech and Debate and Hartford High School Colorguard. Her passion for her students' educational growth is evident in her daily work, and she has created a positive and supportive learning environment. Thank you Mrs. Briley, for all that you do.
Ms. Manning has worked for Hartford Public School for 27 years as our daytime custodian. She is dedicated to her work and plays an essential role in keeping our building running smoothly. She consistently ensures that everything is prepared for events, allowing staff to focus on their responsibilities without concern. Whenever we need assistance, she is always willing to help. Thank you Ms. Manning, for all you do.

7th Graders who have not signed up for next year's trip to Washington DC there will be informational meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in Mrs. Morsaw's classroom at 7:00 pm. We will go over what the trip includes, when the trip is taking place, fundraising for the trip and answer any questions you have. Please use the QR code on the attached flyers to RSVP to the meeting. This will be the last informational meeting we are having for the 2027 trip this year. If you have already signed up for the 2027 trip you DO NOT need to come to this meeting.


There will be no school tomorrow, Friday March 27th, as we begin Spring Break! We hope you have a fun and safe break. We look forward to seeing you when we return on Monday, April 6th. ☀️

HMS Before and After School Tutoring is before school, Monday-Friday 7am-8am and after school, Monday-Thursday 3pm-4pm.
