Open to all girls entering grades 3–8 for the 2026–2027 school year. Registration fee is $30 (checks payable to HPS). Lunch will be provided. Participants should bring a water bottle and gym shoes and must submit completed permission and medical forms. All forms and payment are due by May 22. Dear Hartford Families,

We are excited to share that Hartford Public Schools will once again participate in the Michigan Summer Food Service Program through the Meet Up and Eat Up initiative this summer!

Free, nutritious meals will be available for all children and teens ages 18 and under at Redwood Elementary throughout the summer. There is no registration, no paperwork, and no cost to families.

Redwood Elementary Summer Meal Pick-Up Information

Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 16, 2026

Meal Distribution Day: Mondays
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Families may pick up meals to go during the scheduled distribution time each Monday.

About the Meet Up and Eat Up Program
The Meet Up and Eat Up program helps ensure children continue to have access to healthy meals during the summer months when school is not in session. Meals are free and available to all children and teens, regardless of household income.

Benefits of the program include:

Healthy meals and snacks at no cost
Convenient neighborhood meal locations
Continued nutritional support throughout the summer

Sports physicals will be available today @ the high school from 2:45pm to 5pm for parents/guardians that would like to bring their student-athlete.
