VBYI is inviting middle and high school students to a free, hands-on floral workshop series hosted by Holly Berry Flowers at His Place Outreach Center in Hartford this May!
Workshop Details:
📅 Tuesdays: May 7, 14, & 21
🕕 6:00 – 7:30 PM
📍 His Place Outreach Center – Hartford, MI
💐 Cost: FREE!

Fairy Garden Terrariums
Floral Crowns
Flower Garlands
Prom Corsages & Boutonnières
Faux Floral Wreaths
Students can join one or all three sessions and will take home their own floral creation each time. These workshops are a great opportunity to build new skills and enjoy a safe, welcoming space for creativity.

9th Emma Glover, nominated by Mrs. Tejchma: Emma is always helpful, polite and respectful in class. Always smiling too. Thank you for having a positive vibe Emma!
10th Kamryn Johnson & 11th Rodrigo Morales: On March 13, three juveniles set a construction trailer on fire in Hartford. Rigo and Kamryn were nearby and saw the individuals running from the trailer. They grabbed fire extinguishers and extinguished the fire. Due to their actions, Van Buren County Sheriff Department made Kamryn and Rigo Honorary Sheriff's Deputies.
12th Gabe Shulaw, nominated by Miss Mireles: Miss Mireles mistakenly left out a beautiful & important message Gabe wanted to give for senior night. Gabe did not make it a huge deal or throw a fit about it. Thanks for being so understanding Gabe!

10.º Kamryn Johnson y 11.º Rodrigo Morales: El 13 de marzo, tres menores incendiaron un remolque de construcción en Hartford. Rigo y Kamryn estaban cerca y vieron a los individuos huyendo del remolque. Tomaron extintores y extinguieron el fuego. Debido a sus acciones, el Departamento del Sheriff del Condado de Van Buren nombró a Kamryn y Rigo Agentes Honorarios del Sheriff.
12.º Gabe Shulaw, nominado por la Srta. Mireles: La Srta. Mireles omitió por error un hermoso e importante mensaje que Gabe quería dar para la noche de los estudiantes de último año. Gabe no le dio mucha importancia ni se enfureció. ¡Gracias por tu comprensión, Gabe!
